Pie Factory Music awarded funding from the National Foundation for Youth Music

We’re delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding from the National Foundation for Youth Music to deliver a new programme of music activities for young people in Thanet.

This new programme will include workshops on different practical musical skills such as DJing, using music technology, songwriting and lyric-writing; and music industry masterclasses from professional musicians and industry experts.

We will also be recruiting a cohort of Young Producers – young people interested in putting on gigs and events in venues around Thanet – watch this space for more details and how to apply!

We’re hugely grateful to Youth Music for their support for this project, and we can’t wait to see the programme unfold!

By now we’re sure that you would have heard the great news that The Libertines are headlining this year’s Wheels and Fins festival at Joss Bay, Broadstairs. But did you know that Pie Factory Music has been chosen to benefit from some of the proceeds of this gig?

We’re blown away by this generous gesture and want to thank The Libertines and Wheels and Fins for making this possible. Your donation will make a difference to the lives of young people and we’re exceptionally grateful.
