Art Therapy

Pie Factory Music offers free Art Therapy group sessions for 13 – 17-year-olds in East Kent.

These sessions help young people to explore, express and process their feelings, thoughts and experiences in a safe & calm environment. Art-based psychotherapy uses art-making as a way to explore complex and overwhelming emotions. This can be helpful when young people find it difficult to find the right words to share how they are feeling.

This group offers a safe and confidential space to create art and explore shared experiences, making meaningful connections with each other in the process. Participants can engage in sessions at a pace that suits them, led by their needs. Art therapy encourages self-expression and self-discovery.

Tuesdays, 5 – 6:30pm (from 14th January 2025) at
Pie Factory HQ, Ramsgate Youth Centre

We have secured funding to run our art therapy group again, starting from Tuesday 14th January 2025. The group will run for 8 weeks and is open to up to 6 young people.

If you would like to refer a young person (aged 13 – 17) to the art therapy group, please email info@piefactorymusic.com for a referral form. All referrals needs to be completed and in to Pie by Monday 4th November 2024.

Pie also offers counselling for young people. Find out about our counselling offer.
