Pie Factory Music runs regular day trips and residential activity weeks away for young people throughout the year.
These trips are a chance to see, experience, explore and achieve in ways participants may not have envisaged, and for some, may not have the opportunity to do otherwise.
In 2022, we took a group of 19 young people from Dover and Thanet to Arete Outdoors Centre in Wales for a week of kayaking, coasteering, rock climbing and gorge walking.
Young people who took part have said:
“I’ve never had the opportunity to do something like this, so I’m really glad I did it and would love to do it again. I’ve met new people and it’s thoroughly improved my confidence.”
“It’s helped with my mental health and some personal problems that I’ve been going through”
