Bike Project

Pie’s Bike Project is a free weekly drop-in session on Mondays that teaches 11-17-year-olds bike maintenance.

Our team of bike enthusiasts provide on-hand advice and support on the basics of how to fix a bike and keep it running smoothly and safely. We also work on bike builds and skills. All bikes and tools are provided.

We create a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment open to all young people. Our staff are trained to support people from all backgrounds and with varying needs, including those who are neurodivergent. You can contact us at any time to talk through your needs with us.

Mondays, 5 – 6:45pm (except bank holidays)
Location: Ramsgate Youth Centre CT11 0QG

A Bike Project story…

The journey young people go on at Pie’s Bike Project can be unexpected and amazing. Bunni came to Pie to explore their music skills and also joined the Bike Project. Having learnt all things cycling, Bunni gained a recognised qualification in Bike Maintenance which has led to a job opportunity at Decathlon, building skills and experience for future jobs.

It’s stories like this that demonstrate why we take an holistic approach to our programming – so that young people can grow and develop in lots of different ways.
