We’re hiring – Project Manager (Music and Creative Arts)
Posted: 3rd May 2023
Pie Factory Music is seeking an experienced, creative and highly organised Project Manager to oversee and deliver our multi-strand Emerging Artists Programme, and line manage staff members in the Music & Creative Arts Team, delivering music-related sessions at Pie Factory Music.
Funded by Youth Music since 2018, the aim of the programme is to build a network supporting progression to meaningful opportunities relating to music for young people in Thanet and Dover; connecting them to highly skilled practitioners, industry experts, cultural organisations, and music businesses; and enabling them to take the lead in their own musical journeys. The programme has the backing and support of multiple partners across East Kent, and has helped to establish Pie’s profile as a leader in supporting young people into creative opportunities and careers.
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of programme delivery for the life of the programme, including project planning with other members of the Music & Creative Arts team, facilitation of the Emerging Artists strand of the programme, relationship management with partners and venues, producing outward-facing communications relating to the programme and its events, monitoring of participants’ data as required by the funder, and evaluation of the programme in line with our organisational evaluation framework and the funder’s grant requirements. They will also work closely with the CEO to guarantee the sustainability of the programme beyond the funded period.
The appointed person would be expected to start June 2023, working with two cohorts of Emerging Artists, and finishing in September 2025.
Application deadline: 5pm Friday 19 May 2023 2023
Interviews will take place on Thursday 25 May 2023. Please indicate in your application if you are available on this date.
The successful candidate’s start date will be Monday 5 June 2023.
